Magic Spoon Cereal Review!

Magic Spoon Cereal Review!

Ok, sooo I’ll start by saying I really only eat two types of cereal; Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Froot Loops. That’s it. There are other ones that aren’t bad to me but those two never fail me and I am forever in love with them. However, reading the ingredients in them don’t make me feel too good about eating them. Hence, the reason I started searching for a new cereal (well new breakfast ideas) to eat that actually did something good for my body. I think I found Magic Spoon through instagram, a Trader Joes influencer mentioned it and then I heard about it on a Podcast (Small Doses w Amanda Seales). So with coupon code in hand, I figured why not and if Amanda [someone else black tbh] likes it then maybe it’s not so bad.

To my surprise, this cereal is actually pretty good! It has a lot of protein in it, something I wanted to add more of to my diet, and little to no sugar, something I wanted less of. I believe that they may be most known for their Fruity flavor which is supposed to be very similar to Froot loops. Does it taste the same? Kinda lol. It comes in a really close second and I can dig it for the health benefits that come with it. You most certainly won’t get that blast of sugary flavor but it works, take that how you want. So far I’ve tried quite a few flavors but my favorites are Frosted, Cookies and Cream, Cinnamon, Salted Caramel, Banana, and Strawberry.

Disclaimer! They come out with new flavors often and they are for a limited time only. The last 3 flavors I mentioned are examples of their seasonal flavors, so don’t go looking for it on their website. A major downside to this cereal is it’s expensive y’all! $40 for 4 boxes and you have to buy it in groups of four. Was it worth a try? Yes! Would I keep up with buying this cereal every month? Probably not. Maybe when I’m rich!

Long story, short. It’s worth the buy if you’re looking for a healthy cereal alternative and can afford it!
